About the role
USPI Golden Ridge Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Sterile Processing Technician to join their team. The position offers:
- No call, weekend, holiday, or night shifts.
- 10-hour shifts available.
Responsibilities
The Sterile Processing Technician:
- Cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation.
- Sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases.
Requirements
- Must be a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 2-3 years experience as Instrument Room Technician.
- Experience with all types of sterilizers.
- Knowledge of operating room instrumentation.
- Organized in setting up operating room instrument trays.
- Understanding of steam/ gravity sterilizers and Sterrad sterilizers.
- Ability to prepare reports and keep records.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
Qualifications
- Must be certified as a Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician.

- At least 2-3 years of experience as an Instrument Room Technician.
- Experience with various sterilization methods including steam/ gravity sterilizers and Sterrad sterilizers.
