Sterile Processing Technician
About the role
Responsible for collecting, cleaning, inspecting, wrapping, sterilizing and distributing instruments, instrument trays, basins and equipment. Performs work under minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Collects, cleans, inspects, wraps, sterilizes and distributes instruments, instrument trays, basins and equipment.
- Ensures compliance with infection control protocols.
- May assist in organizing and maintaining inventory of sterile supplies.
Requirements
- Certification within 1 year of hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association.
- Certification within 1 year of hire: National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.
Qualifications
- One year experience in Sterile Processing Department.
Skills
- Attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to follow detailed procedures.

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Schedule
Part time, 8-hour Variable Shifts.
