Sterile Processing Supervisor
About the role
Oversee the precise inspection, assembly, and testing of surgical instruments to ensure 100% functionality and set completeness.
Ensure all decontamination and sterilization processes strictly follow Instructions for Use (IFUs) and established safety protocols.
Manage sterilization equipment operations and instrument tracking systems to maintain peak departmental efficiency.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels to guarantee the timely availability of accurate case carts for surgical teams.
Lead departmental quality assurance by auditing peer performance and identifying needs for instrument repair or replacement.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Preferences
- 2-3 years of sterile processing experience with progressive leadership experience and CRCST or equivalent Certification.
