About the role
Baptist Health is a locally governed, faith-based, not-for-profit health system in Northeast Florida. They provide comprehensive care through multiple locations and six hospitals, including Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center, Baptist Heart Hospital, Baptist Neurological Institute, and Wolfson Children's Hospital. Baptist Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Manager to join their Surgical Services Main OR Team at Baptist South.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating all processes to support the needs of numerous customers, including all instrumentation activities
- Ensuring that policies and procedures comply with all accrediting, recommending, and regulatory agencies
- Actively participating in the hiring, counseling, and performance reviews of all staff
- Monitoring and participating in the budget process, which includes expense activity, revenue, and interpretation of statistical data
- Working in a staff role if the situation requires
- Holding touchpoints with vendor representatives throughout the day
- Collaborating with the OR manager
- Ensuring that all stations are attended to
Requirements
- 3-5 Years of Prep and Sterile Experience Required
- 3-5 Years of Healthcare Management Experience Required
Qualifications
- A currently active CRCST or CSPDT Sterile Processing Manager Experience
Skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Schedule
This is a Full-time Days position, however the schedule can be flexible due to the role requiring the day-to-day supervision of activities in the Prep & Sterile Department for a 24-hour operation.
