Step Squad Project Leader (Part Time)
Job Description
Course Description:
- A structured performance program designed to introduce beginner dancers to the art of stepping.
- Utilizes the entire body as an instrument.
- Develops fundamental mechanics of synchronization, vocal projection, and rhythmic accuracy.
- Final task is a High Energy Step Exhibition featuring a completely memorized, cohesive routine demonstrating sharp physical precision and uniform ensemble timing.
Preparation & Practice Time:
- Up to 2 hours per week preparing for Projects.
- Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:25pm-3:25pm.
Qualifications
- An experienced individual with experience participating in or leading a successful Step Squad and a passion for the craft.
- A motivated leader who can teach students in the Step Squad Project on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:25pm-3:25pm (from September until late May).
- An enthusiasm for collaborating with internal and external partners in the best interest of students.
- A self-directed learner who solicits and implements feedback to improve outcomes and achieve objectives.
- A demonstrated commitment to supporting students' social emotional and academic development.

Compensation:
- Coaches will receive an annual stipend of $6,052.00 based on experience and contracted hours per week, paid semi-monthly.
- If at any point during the year, you stop performing these responsibilities before they are fully completed, for any reason, your stipend will be adjusted in accordance.
