About the role

Code Ninjas is a fast-growing kids coding franchise based in Fullerton and La Habra, CA. They offer an in-school program where kids aged 5 to 10 explore coding, robotics, game design, 3D printing, circuitry, and more through fun, hands-on activities. The goal is to build creativity, confidence, logic, and teamwork skills in a way that feels like play.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading after-school sessions for groups of 10 to 25 students, ages 5 to 10
• Support another Sensei in delivering lessons on topics like coding, robotics, game design, 3D printing, and circuitry
• Help manage classroom flow and maintain a positive, structured learning environment
• Engage with students to keep them focused, on task, and supported during activities
• Reinforce key concepts from the curriculum through one-on-one and small group assistance
• Prepare materials before class and assist with cleanup after sessions
• Collaborate with the Center Director and co-Senseis to ensure sessions run smoothly

Requirements

Experience with children, exposure to coding, robotics, or STEM is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

Enjoys working with groups of kids and keeping them engaged, friendly, positive, and full of energy, manages classroom behavior calmly and respectfully, reliable, organized, and a good team player, comfortable helping with tech topics like coding, robotics, and game design.
