Description and Essential Functions
Responsible for supporting the Transit Center from a customer service perspective.
- Provides in-person customer service from behind a screened-in service booth
- Answers phone calls and passenger inquiries
- Provides general support to passengers and the transit center
- Collections any pertinent information from passengers
- Processes payment transactions using a retail point-of-sale system
- Uses technology as a web-based system to assist passengers with rider accounts
- Maintains accurate ticket inventories and daily receipts
- Lights custodial duties as required
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Education and/or Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent, one (1) year of experience in customer service preferred.
Benefits
- Wage: Starting wage is $21.42 per hour. Effective July 1, this rate will be $22.13 per hour.
- Schedule: This is a full-time position, 40 hours a week, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
- Time: 8.67 hours of paid time off accrued per pay period; equivalent to 5+ weeks off.
