State Staff Accountant – Accounts Receivable & Billing

Are you ready to use your accounting expertise to make a direct impact on public state programs? We are looking for two detail-oriented financial professionals to join a high-impact state agency team, where your precision in payment processing and account reconciliation will keep vital insurance and benefits programs running seamlessly. You will be joining a dedicated state health agency team responsible for delivering essential insurance benefits and administrative oversight to thousands of public sector employees and program participants. This unit manages high-volume financial operations, ensuring accurate premium accounting and maintaining strict data privacy compliance across state accounts. The position is temporary (3–6 months with option to extend up to 12 months), based in Oklahoma City, OK, 100% onsite Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with a target start date of 9/28/2026. Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams or in‑person, and the role handles high‑sensitivity data.
