Widewater State Park is accepting applications for the Contact Ranger position. Job Summary We are seeking outgoing and energetic individuals to serve in this frontline and assist visitors by providing information regarding park services, amenities, and other local attractions. This position will be responsible for operating a point-of-sale terminal and informing visitors of park rules and regulations. Key Duties and Responsibilities Perform fee collection, cash management, and maintaining records of annual pass holders.Provide information regarding park services, amenities, and other local attractions. Inform visitors of park rules and regulations.Availability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts Minimum Qualifications Ability to memorize and recall information, perform basic math skills, and operate a computer and cash register. Additional Considerations Customer service experience.Cash management/point-of-sale terminal experience.
