Twin Lakes State Park is accepting applications for an Office Assistant position. Job Summary The successful candidate will be responsible for providing customer service in person, by phone, and via email; reconciling revenue for cash registers; preparing and depositing revenue; entering revenue data into designated software systems; and maintaining organized and accurate filing and storage. Additional responsibilities include reconciling financial data, procuring goods and services, managing park records, and processing time sheets, payroll, and invoices for payment. Key Duties And Responsibilities Candidate may act as working supervisor at the park office/gift shop and contact locations. Ideal candidate must be able to apply supervisory practices and principles, interpret and follow instructions. The successful candidate will also be able to ensure operational and safety procedures are followed and provide daily work direction. While functioning in a supervisory capacity, responsible for exercising some independent judgment in problem solving. Other duties may include special events and other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Excellent internal and external customer service and communication skills are required, including in-person, phone, and email.Proficient in using a computer, including operating and troubleshooting basic computer systems.Knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.Proficient in operating point of sale systems and cash management.Ability to work well with other staff, volunteers, and park guests both independently and as a team member.Ability to work varying schedules including days, night, weekends and holidays. Additional Considerations Prior experience providing customer service in a park setting or related field.Prior work experience in a lead or supervisory capacity.
