Startup Matcha Company Sales Representative

Position Summary A growing company in the food and beverage industry is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to support business development and expand its customer base. This position focuses on developing new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective customers, and promoting the company’s products. Two types of Sales Representative positions are available based on experience and responsibilities. Responsibilities Identify and develop new business opportunities and prospective customersConduct outreach and sales activities to generate new leadsBuild and maintain relationships with customersPromote the company’s products to potential clientsConduct outside sales activities and visit prospective customersCollaborate with internal teams to support sales growthMaintain and follow up on sales leads and customer inquiriesMonitor market trends and identify potential business opportunitiesParticipate in domestic business travel as neededSupport additional sales and business development activities as assigned Qualifications Native-level English proficiency is requiredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to develop relationships with prospective customersSelf-motivated and comfortable with outside sales activitiesExperience in the food, beverage, café, or related industries is preferredExperience working for a matcha or tea manufacturer/company is a plusJapanese language skills are a plusAbility to travel as needed EMPLOYMENT TYPE Full-Time WORK SCHEDULE Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM WORK ARRANGEMENT Hybrid work arrangement Outside sales/customer visits as requiredDomestic U.S. travel required depending on business needsInternational travel may also be required SALARY USD $60,000-$100,000 annually BONUS Bonus eligibility based on achievement against budget/targets and overall company performance.
