About the role

A Starbucks Supervisor acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge to create the Starbucks experience for guests by providing prompt service, quality beverages and products.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all guests by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
• Follows health, food safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Creates a positive learning environment by providing clear, specific, timely and respectful coaching and feedback to team members on shift to improve performance and ensure operational excellence.
• Delivers legendary service to all guests by acting with a customer-first attitude and connecting with the guest; discovers and responds to guest needs.
• Executes store operations during scheduled shifts, including organizing opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Follows Starbucks operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling, safety, and security, to ensure the safety of all team members during each shift.
• Follows all cash management and cash register policies; ensures proper cash management practices are followed by the shift team.
• Follows up with baristas during the shift to ensure the delivery of legendary customer service for all guests.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 16 years.

Physical and sensory demands

Work is generally performed in a safe and comfortable store environment with frequent exposure to hot or cold conditions. The role requires:

• Regular grasping, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, twisting, crouching, and reaching.
• Tasks requiring repetitive motion and eye, hand, and foot coordination.
• Ability to hear and respond to customer inquiries.
• Standing, walking, and bending throughout the entire workday.
• Ability to maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 30 pounds.
