Stamping Group Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support stamping department team leads and production associates to achieve safety, quality, and production goals.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements while promoting a strong safety culture.
• Monitor production schedules and verify products are manufactured according to quality standards and production requirements.
• Understand stamping press operations and coordinate with maintenance to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment issues.
• Aid in production planning by reviewing inventory levels and recommending adjustments to improve workflow and efficiency.
• Develop and implement cross-training and job rotation plans to enhance workforce flexibility and productivity.
• Optimize staffing and labor utilization to maximize operational efficiency.
• Investigate production and efficiency concerns and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
• Support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives to meet departmental objectives.
• Maintain regular attendance and flexibility to work rotating shifts as required.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support operational objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, preferably within a stamping environment.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn manufacturing software systems.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and production documentation.
• Experience with Plex manufacturing software is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Five or more years of stamping production experience.
• Two or more years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading continuous improvement, productivity, and employee development initiatives.
• Must be available to work rotating shifts and overtime to support operational needs.
