Group Lead
Job Summary
Performs a wide variety of electromechanical production subassembly and assembly operations of a semiskilled nature to disassemble and assemble difficult and complex units in a repetitive environment. Assists the area supervisor in day-to-day operations of the group and will fill in during the Supervisor's absence.
Essential Functions
- Assembles, disassembles, modifies, reworks, refurbishes and tests units where operations and sequences are specified by established documentation.
- Identifies and selects components to be integrated into subassembly and assembly units.
- Operate basic electronic test equipment such as volt meters.
- May perform routine tasks in preparation for assembly such as cutting wire to specified size, stripping, tinning or bending wire parts, wiring and fastening terminal connections.
- Create non-conforming/defect records and process material accordingly.
Required/Preferred Education And Experience
- High School Trade School Graduate or equivalent required
- Generally, more than 5 years of related experience required
- Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Must be able to read and understand assembly documentation, blueprints and/or wire lists.
- Must be familiar with general computer operation.
- May be required to perform basic soldering of PTH and SMT assemblies.
- IPC Soldering Certification a plus.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
- QSR experience a plus

Hourly Pay Rate
The Hourly Pay Rate For This Position Is $27.00 to $29.00 Factors which may affect this rate include shift, geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
