Full-Time position in Ivins, Utah offering a pay range of $25.00-$30.00 per hour.

About the Role

The Staffing & Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for creating and maintaining employee schedules, coordinating staffing needs, minimizing overtime, monitoring timekeeping records, and ensuring appropriate staffing levels are maintained in a 24/7 healthcare environment. This position works closely with nursing leadership, department managers, and employees to support efficient operations and exceptional resident care.

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and manage employee schedules.
  • Coordinate coverage for call-ins and staffing shortages.
  • Maintain staffing patterns and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
  • Utilize scheduling software and online scheduling systems.
  • Review timecards, attendance records, and payroll-related information.
  • Assist with payroll processing and timekeeping corrections.
  • Monitor overtime and implement strategies to reduce unnecessary premium pay.
  • Communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and department leaders.
  • Assist with recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and staffing initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate staffing and scheduling records.
  • Support employee engagement across all shifts, including evenings and nights.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and staff.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Associates or Bachelors degree preferred).
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using online scheduling software and workforce management systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build teams and communicate in a challenging environment.
  • Emotional intelligence, integrity, and the ability to manage employee situations confidentially and with professional tact.
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work with others as a key member of a healthcare administration team dedicated to excellence.
  • Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in staffing, scheduling, workforce management, payroll, human resources, or healthcare operations.
  • Experience working in healthcare, long-term care, skilled nursing, hospital, or other 24/7 environments.
  • Associate's degree or higher in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of scheduling practices, attendance management, and labor management principles.
