Full-Time position in Ivins, Utah offering a pay range of $25.00-$30.00 per hour.
About the Role
The Staffing & Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for creating and maintaining employee schedules, coordinating staffing needs, minimizing overtime, monitoring timekeeping records, and ensuring appropriate staffing levels are maintained in a 24/7 healthcare environment. This position works closely with nursing leadership, department managers, and employees to support efficient operations and exceptional resident care.
Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and manage employee schedules.
- Coordinate coverage for call-ins and staffing shortages.
- Maintain staffing patterns and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
- Utilize scheduling software and online scheduling systems.
- Review timecards, attendance records, and payroll-related information.
- Assist with payroll processing and timekeeping corrections.
- Monitor overtime and implement strategies to reduce unnecessary premium pay.
- Communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and department leaders.
- Assist with recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and staffing initiatives.
- Maintain accurate staffing and scheduling records.
- Support employee engagement across all shifts, including evenings and nights.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and staff.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Associates or Bachelors degree preferred).
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using online scheduling software and workforce management systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build teams and communicate in a challenging environment.
- Emotional intelligence, integrity, and the ability to manage employee situations confidentially and with professional tact.
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in staffing, scheduling, workforce management, payroll, human resources, or healthcare operations.
- Experience working in healthcare, long-term care, skilled nursing, hospital, or other 24/7 environments.
- Associate's degree or higher in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Knowledge of scheduling practices, attendance management, and labor management principles.
