Staffing Coordinator - Nursing

Role: Staffing Coordinator supporting patient care units by managing staffing requests and resource allocation on a shift-by-shift basis. Responsibilities Review staffing reports and compare recommendations with unit needs.Collaborate with charge RNs to meet staffing requirements.Analyze staffing patterns to identify balance or the need for hiring or absences.Contact staff for excused absences and communicate placements.Assist in orienting nurse managers, supervisors, and staff to staffing practices and procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required.Preferred experience in inpatient care units or support roles.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Proficient computer skills. Key Details: Nonexempt position, full-time schedule with 72 hours per pay period, rotating day/evening shifts, including every third weekend. Compensation ranges from $20.98 to $29.19 per hour, with benefits including health, dental, vision, savings plans, and retirement.
