About the role
Cambrian Homecare, LLC (part of the Dungarvin family of companies) provides in-home care services since 1996, focusing on compassion, flexibility, and personalized care. The role involves supporting critical weekend operations by serving as a key resource for caregivers and clients.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate caregiver schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and exceptional customer service.
- Communicate with caregivers, clients, and families regarding scheduling updates, service concerns, and changes.
- Coordinate new and ongoing services, ensuring continuity of care.
- Partner with recruiting, operations, and other internal teams to support staffing needs and caregiver onboarding.
- Maintain accurate scheduling records, caregiver communications, and client updates within company systems.
- Monitor caregiver schedules, authorized service hours, staffing needs, and client schedules to identify coverage gaps and support new referrals and service requests.
Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish).
- 2+ years of experience in staffing, scheduling, service coordination, healthcare, home care, or a related customer service environment.
- Experience working in a phone-based environment (approximately 65% of duties), requiring strong prioritization, responsiveness, and real-time coordination of schedules and service needs.
- Advanced Microsoft 365 skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).

Benefits
Compensation: $23.50 hourly fixed rate. Work Environment: On-site in Long Beach, CA.
