Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule service calls, maintenance visits, and repair appointments
- Serve as the primary point of contact between customers, technicians, and internal departments
- Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and customer information
- Communicate scheduling updates, delays, and service completion information to customers
- Aid in dispatching technicians based on workload, availability, and service priorities
- Afford support to billing and administrative processes by ensuring work orders are complete and accurate
- Prepare reports and assist with tracking service department metrics
- Identify opportunities to improve scheduling efficiency and service processes
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional and positive attitude
Qualifications
- 1+ years of administrative, customer service, scheduling, dispatching, or similar experience preferred
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; an associate's or bachelor's degree is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and time management abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Comfortable learning new software and technology systems
- Ability to work collaboratively with customers, technicians, and internal teams
- Previous experience in Elevator industry, construction, field service, mechanical services, or a related industry preferred
- Must reside within a commutable distance to Pompano Beach, Florida
