Service Coordinator
Job Overview
To assist the service department in all administrative duties and communications with the other departments, and customers. Assist in schedules, follow-ups, billings and other related support.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Provides administrative assistance to the service department by receiving and coordinating customer & internal requests for service information and scheduling work, daily tracking of technician’s time in CDK.
- Provide coordination & technical support for manufacture warranty claim filing, policy warranty requests, and submit claims to the warranty department.
- Communicates with customers on work status and billing information, approves & processes outside purchases to work orders, opens work orders, and edits & closes work orders (invoice work orders).
- Maintains shop supply inventory and service truck fleet operating expense & operation reports.
- Maintains branch Safety programs; Meets OSHA and EPA compliance
Qualifications/Requirements
- Must be able to apply the seven principles of the KOMATSU Way to their everyday work activities where applicable.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in service operation administration or similar fields; able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational, communications and customer relations skills; A solid understanding of pricing principles and discounting effects & attention to detail in all areas of responsibility
- Good working knowledge of computer & systems in place; basic equipment operations and mechanical functions
Hiring Range
The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location. At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $50,000 Annually.
