Staffing Coordinator
About the Role
Improve the overall health of the communities we serve by coordinating service line staff to ensure patient access is maximized while maintaining appropriate staffing ratios.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with operational leadership in creating and editing staff schedules.
- Works with department supervisor(s) to support time off requests.
- Coordinates with Clinic Administrators to ensure effective communication and patient access.
- Manages timesheets for all staff in assigned service lines.
- Creates and maintains positive staff relations, communication, effective care, and a focus on CHAS Health’s mission.
- Updates appropriate staffing software for clinic departments.
- Builds and applies templates for clinical staff in assigned service lines.
- Provides planned and same-day coordination of staffing resources for assigned service lines.
- Maintains records and statistics to improve continuity and increase efficiency.
- Ensures timely decision-making by evaluating systemwide resources and access.
- Completes a variety of assignments simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Performs other duties assigned, including supporting the CHAS Health Mission and Core Values.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience in business, health administration, or related field required.
- Experience with health care staffing and operational metrics preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and written and verbal communication.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
- Demonstrated competency in computer and related software, including Word and Excel required; experience with electronic health record is preferred.
- Ability to work under tight time constraints, handle high stress, and changing priorities.
- Valid driver’s license and insurance required.
- Commitment to supporting a safe and respectful environment is required.

- Use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
- Communicating occurs constantly throughout the day.
- May occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Pay
Compensation Range: $25.67 - $37.70
