Staff/Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• General ledger month end close, assist with financial statements, cash management, bank reconciliation, journal entries, AP, analysis of balance sheet, trial balance
• Cook up vendor payments, ensuring timely settlement of invoices
• Review and verify invoice accuracy, resolve discrepancies or issues as necessary
• Maintain accurate accounts receivables records and follow up on outstanding invoices
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize cash flow and reduce outstanding balances
• Generate and provide routine reports on outstanding A/R balances, collections, and progress, and payroll processing backup

Financial Reporting and Analysis

• Prepare and present financial reports to support decision-making and forecasting
• Utilize strong Excel systems
