About the role

The Cardiovascular (ARU) RN plays a pivotal role in patient care, acting as a bridge between doctors, patients and families. The Admit Recovery Unit RN is part of a supportive, collaborative team that provides superior patient care, in a highly skilled, fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Pre-procedure preparation of invasive cardiology patients
• Post-procedure recovery of invasive cardiology patients
• Receiving clinically advanced, lifesaving cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations
• Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)

Qualifications (Preferred)

• BSN degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN)
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 3x12 hour day shift, with a late stay rotation; no weekends, no holidays, and no call.
