About the Role

Analog Devices is seeking a Product Engineer to support the development of RF/microwave designs for Communications, Test & Measurement Instrumentation, Industrial, and Aerospace and Defense applications. This role offers the opportunity to work with and learn from top industry-leading RF and microwave professionals in the RF/Microwave Amplifier MMIC Design Group. The position focuses on developing world-class RF/Microwave/Millimeter-wave GaAs and GaN LNA/Driver Amplifier/Power Amplifier MMICs.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop RF/Microwave/Millimeter-wave GaAs and GaN MMICs, including LNAs, Driver Amplifiers, and Power Amplifiers.
  • Perform MMIC design and layout using industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., ADS, Momentum, RFPro, Sonnet).
  • Conduct electro-magnetic simulations and thermal analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex RF/microwave engineering challenges.
  • Utilize RF/microwave test equipment and measurement techniques (e.g., spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, power meters).

Requirements

  • MSEE or PhD in Electrical Engineering with a background in RF/microwave engineering.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in RF/microwave circuit design (Ph.D. in relevant areas may count toward industry experience).
  • Experience with GaAs and/or GaN semiconductor technologies, MMIC design, and layout.
  • Proficiency with EDA tools: Cadence, ADS, AWR, Ansys HFSS, Sonnet, Momentum, RFPro.
  • Knowledge of GaAs and/or GaN device physics and modeling.
  • Experience with microwave/millimeter-wave circuit/system design.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of PA linearization and efficiency enhancement.

Pay

The expected wage range for this position is $131,285 to $190,108. Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, and internal pay equity.

Schedule

  • 1st Shift/Days.
  • Required travel: 10% of the time.
  • Remote opportunities may be possible for this role.
