About the role
Analog Devices is seeking a Product Engineer to support the development of RF/microwave designs for Communications, Test & Measurement Instrumentation, Industrial, and Aerospace and Defense applications. This role offers the opportunity to work with and learn from top industry-leading RF and microwave professionals in the RF/Microwave Amplifier MMIC Design Group. You will develop world-class RF/Microwave/Millimeter-wave GaAs and GaN LNA/Driver Amplifier/Power Amplifier MMICs.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop RF/Microwave/Millimeter-wave GaAs and GaN MMICs, including LNAs, Driver Amplifiers, and Power Amplifiers.
- Perform MMIC design and layout using industry-standard EDA tools (ADS, Momentum, RFPro, Sonnet, etc.).
- Conduct electro-magnetic simulations and thermal analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex RF/microwave engineering challenges.
- Utilize RF/microwave test equipment and measurement techniques (e.g., spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, power meters).
Requirements
- BSEE, MSEE, or PhD in Electrical Engineering with a background in RF/microwave engineering.
- 0-3 years of experience in RF/microwave MMIC design (Ph.D. in relevant areas may count toward industry experience).
- Experience with GaAs and/or GaN semiconductor technologies.
- Proficiency with EDA tools: Cadence, ADS, AWR, Ansys HFSS, Sonnet, Momentum, RFPro.
- Knowledge of GaAs and/or GaN device physics and modeling.
- Experience with microwave/millimeter-wave circuit/system design.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of power amplifier (PA) linearization and efficiency enhancement techniques.

Pay
The expected wage range for this position is $87,188 to $119,906. Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, and internal pay equity.
