Responsibilities
- Support the development of RF/microwave designs for Communications, Test & Measurement Instrumentation, Industrial, and Aerospace and Defense applications
- Develop world class RF/Microwave/Millimeter-wave GaAs and GaN LNA/Driver Amplifier/Power Amplifier MMICs
Qualifications
- Experience with GaAs and/or GaN semiconductor technologies, MMIC design and layout, electro-magnetic simulation, thermal analysis and industry standard EDA tools like ADS and Momentum/RFPro/Sonnet
- BSEE/MSEE/PhD degree in EE with background in RF/microwave engineering, with a minimum of 0-3 years of experience. Ph.D. in relevant areas could be counted towards industry experience depending on the thesis
- Must be a US citizen or green card holder
- Proficiency with EDA tools: Cadence, ADS, AWR, Ansys HFSS, Sonnet, Momentum, RFPro etc.
- Knowledge of GaAs and/or GaN device physics and modeling
- Microwave/millimeter-wave circuit/system design experience
- Proficiency with RF/microwave test equipment and measurement techniques, e.g. spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, power meters, etc.
- Must have excellent teamwork and communications skills
Skills
- Knowledge of PA linearization and efficiency enhancement is a plus
Pay
The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $87,188 to $119,906. Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors. This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
