Job Summary
The ideal candidate will have a passion for data, a strong background in product analytics, and the ability to establish reporting practices throughout the product team. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to analyze product performance, identify trends, and drive data-informed decisions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of product performance metrics, user behavior, and other key data points to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track product KPIs, providing clear and actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests to measure the impact of new features, product changes, and other experiments.
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to ensure that data-driven insights are integrated into product development and strategy.
- Analyze customer feedback and behavior to understand user needs and preferences, translating this data into actionable recommendations for product improvements.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to stay informed of industry trends and how they impact our product strategy.
- Perform ad hoc analysis to support specific business questions and challenges as they arise.
Requirements
- Experienced in product analytics, data analysis, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
- Experience with statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, Python) is a plus.
- Some app development experience in TypeScript or Python, with the ability to write sufficient code and submit Merge Requests (MRs) to instrument applications using tools like Mixpanel, through TypeScript or Python SDK.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
