Staff/Principal Engineer - Design Verification (SoC expert/lead)

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive end-to-end SoC verification architecture and strategy
  • Develop comprehensive test plans across module, subsystem, and SoC levels
  • Lead and coordinate parallel verification efforts across multiple teams
  • Apply advanced verification methodologies, including UVM and emulation
  • Leverage Gen-AI tools to improve verification efficiency and insights

Requirements

  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in SoC verification environments, architecture definitions and development
  • Expert-level proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM
  • Proven experience writing and tracking detailed verification test plans and capable of developing deep and comprehensive SoC test plans
  • Experience with development of advanced verification methodologies, flows and strategies for module, sub-system and SOC top level test-benches

Qualifications

  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience verifying PCIe, NVMe, NAND, DDR, or CPU subsystems!
  • Proven leadership of large or complex verification efforts
  • Hands-on experience with emulation platforms for ASIC simulations acceleration
  • Strong experience and exposure to modern Gen-AI solutions applied to verification workflows
  • Focused visionary leader, capable of driving teams to meet performance, quality and schedule goals

Pay

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is: $168,000.00 - $336,000.00 a year

Additional Compensation May Include Benefits, Bonuses And Equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.
