About the role
South Plains Rural Health Services (SPRHS) is seeking compassionate and mission-driven Staff Physician to join our team at Howard County Community Health Center in Levelland, TX.
What You'll Do
- Provide high-quality outpatient care aligned with your specialty
- Develop patient-centered care plans, including exams, diagnosis, and follow-up
- Order and interpret diagnostic test in a cost-effective manner
- Coordinate referrals and ensure continuity of care
- Participate in quality improvement efforts and staff meetings
- Support public health efforts and patient education
- Maintain eligibility to serve on local hospital medical staff
- Supervise NPs
What You'll Bring
- MD or DO from accredited medical school
- Texas Medical License (or ability to obtain)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Practice
- Current BLS certification
- Commitment to health equity and community care
- Ability to work well in a team-based, multidisciplinary setting
- Eligible to supervise mid-level providers and serve on staff
Requirements
