About the role
As a Staff Pharmacist, you have a critical role at the forefront of delivering our purpose, modeling our values, and demonstrating genuine, authentic care for our patients. In addition to supporting the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing your Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, you are accountable for supporting the management, oversight, and operation of all aspects within your pharmacy.
Responsibilities
- Ensure patient safety and uphold pharmacy professional practice standards.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and quality assurance protocols.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and manage personnel effectively.
- Oversee inventory management, financial profitability, and loss prevention.
- Optimize workflow management to enhance operational efficiency.
- Promote and manage patient care programs to support health outcomes.
- Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, customers, and colleagues.
- Motivate and develop Pharmacy Support Staff by leveraging strengths and addressing development opportunities.
- Identify and pursue critical business opportunities to drive growth and performance.
- Implement solutions and lead your team to achieve specified goals.
- Adapt to change and thrive in a dynamic community healthcare setting.

Requirements
- Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment.
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
- No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
Schedule
Full time, 40 hours per week.
Pay
The typical pay range for this role is $60.00 - $76.00 per hour. This position is also eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range.
