Staff Nurse - Oncology/Haematology

About the role

This is a rare chance to build a specialist career in haematology and oncology, supported by world-class clinicians, structured training and exposure to ground-breaking cancer treatments.

Responsibilities

  • Care for adults with diverse oncology and haematology needs, from acute presentations to palliative and supportive care.
  • Support patients through every stage of their cancer journey.
  • Work in a centre delivering innovative treatments such as bispecific cancer therapies and TIL therapy.
  • Gain exposure to robotic cancer surgery and stem cell transplant services.
  • Deliver exceptional care within a centre operating at the forefront of cancer treatment in the private sector.

Requirements

  • Current NMC registration.
  • Experience within haematology or oncology is desirable but not essential — full training and support will be provided.
  • Experience in Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) administration is desirable, though not essential.
  • A background in oncology/haematology nursing would be advantageous.
  • Alternatively, we welcome applications from nurses with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an acute medicine setting.
  • Previous NHS or private hospital experience.
  • A strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to learn and develop within a specialist service.

Qualifications

  • Current NMC registration.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an acute medicine setting.
  • Previous NHS or private hospital experience.
  • A strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to learn and develop within a specialist service.

Skills

  • Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) administration.
  • Robotic cancer surgery.
  • Tumour-Infiltrating Lymphocyte (TIL) therapy.
  • Bispecific cancer therapies.
  • Stem cell transplant services.

Pay

Schedule

Full time – 37.5 hours per week.
