About the role
Staff Nurse providing specialized nursing care with a focus on family-centered, patient-specific care across all age groups.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and direct nursing care, ensuring quality and safety.
- Deliver physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety support to patients.
- Perform leadership, mentorship, and staff education duties.
- Engage in evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and system-based activities.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to promote efficient, team-oriented care and excellent customer service.
- Utilize informatics and technology tools effectively.
- Support staffing needs across various units based on patient requirements.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- BSN required or obtained within five years.
- Current Ohio RN license and Basic Life Support certification.
- Minimum of one year healthcare experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and work collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (e.g., EPIC) preferred.
