About the Role
The Staff Nurse provides specialized nursing care based on principles from biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences, delivering family-centered care to patients of all ages.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with a family-centered approach.
- Ensure the physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs of patients.
- Demonstrate leadership and professionalism in clinical practice.
- Deliver patient-centered care in collaboration with providers.
- Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and staff education.
- Utilize evidence-based practices, informatics, and technology.
- Adapt to temporary assignments across the organization as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or willingness to obtain within 5 years.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid Ohio RN license; Multistate License required within 90 days if applicable.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (preferably EPIC).
- Experience in pediatric ambulatory care preferred.

This is an on-site role with no specified contract duration.
