Staff Nurse – Full-Time

Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital, part of the New Jersey Department of Health and the Division of Behavioral Health Services, is seeking a full-time Staff Nurse.

About the role

The Staff Nurse serves as a member of the treatment team, working with residents, their families, and community agencies. Responsibilities include providing assistance, counseling, and instruction to residents; carrying out therapeutic and medical orders authorized by a registered nurse, licensed physician, or other supervisor; and delivering professional nursing care and treatment under the direction of a nursing supervisor, physician, or other supervisory official in a state department, institution, clinic, or agency.

Requirements

• Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the State of New Jersey.
• Ability to physically lift, move, and position clients as needed.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• All new hires must attend a mandatory three-week orientation on the day shift.
• Drug test required within 72 hours of offer (at the applicant’s expense).

Pay

$63,662.98 – $92,953.28 per year.
