About the role
Provide healthcare services at a correctional facility as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care and administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Conduct nursing assessments, monitor patient conditions, and respond to medical concerns and emergencies with professionalism.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical documentation and collaborate with healthcare providers and correctional staff to ensure safe, quality care.
- Promote continuity of care while adhering to clinical standards and policies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in correctional healthcare or a willingness to learn in this setting.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently within a collaborative team environment.
Key Duties
- Providing nursing assessments, medication administration, emergency response, documentation, and teamwork to ensure patient safety and care quality.
