About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our daytime healthcare team at a correctional facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Conduct nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions
- Respond confidently to medical concerns and emergencies
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and correctional staff to ensure quality care
- Ensure continuity of care while adhering to clinical standards and policies
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid LPN or RN licensure
- Experience or interest in correctional healthcare
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and emergency response skills
- Ability to work independently within a supportive team environment
Additional Details
This is a full-time position with day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, and a rotating schedule including every other weekend.
