Position Overview
A full-time healthcare role for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) or Registered Nurses (RN) at a correctional facility, working day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM on a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend.
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Perform nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions
- Respond confidently to medical concerns and emergencies
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and correctional staff to ensure safe, quality care
- Ensure continuity of care and compliance with clinical standards
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid LPN or RN license
- Ability to work independently with supportive leadership
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
