Staff LPN - IV Cert

About the role

Join our team as a full-time Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) at BJC Medical Group in Farmington, Missouri. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside highly skilled physicians and advanced practice providers in a vibrant healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a physician or other licensed provider in an ambulatory care setting.
• Performs clinical skills such as phlebotomy, EKGs, point of care testing, and medication administration.
• Aids in medical office procedures and initiates/discontinues IV fluids as directed.
• Fulfills HIPAA, CLIA, OSHA, Medication Management, and Infection Prevention protocols for equipment/cleaning and sterilization.
• Collects vital signs, gathers patient histories, and accurately documents in the patient’s record.
• Triage patient calls, provides test/lab results, and communicates relevant medical information to the provider using proper terminology.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• No prior nursing experience required.
• Must hold an active LPN license.
• Preferred: IV certification.

Qualifications

• Associate or trade school education in nursing.
• No supervisory experience needed.

Pay and Schedule

The pay rate is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Hours are 40 per week, Monday through Friday, with no call, weekends, or holidays.
