Staff IT Engineer (IAM)

Responsibilities
- Execute projects to design, develop, and standardize IAM lifecycle and workflows for Headway employee accounts.
- Drive automation and integration excellence by configuring and managing workflows to automate provisioning, de-provisioning, and access changes.
- Complete and maintain key IdP integrations with business applications, strengthening the security foundation.
- Led the transition to least-privilege, ensuring access is governed by job function and need.
- Lead the RBAC initiative, governing access based on job function and need.
- Address and resolve identity-related incidents and escalated service requests.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish IAM policies and governance fostering a culture of least-privilege.
Requirements
- Experience in a SaaS environment with at least 5 years, focusing on Identity & Access Management (Okta experience preferred).
- Subject matter expertise in IAM technologies, including large-scale IdP implementations, JML automation, and API/SAML/OIDC integrations.
- Leadership in large-scale company access control deployments requiring cross-functional collaboration and user impact management.
- Ability to partner with stakeholders to synthesize and present technical solutions driving business efficiency.
- Methodical project ownership and management with autonomy, planning and executing work with visibility.
- Stay updated on latest technology and privacy best practices and requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience in designing, developing, and standardizing IAM lifecycle and workflows.
- Proven track record in automating provisioning, de-provisioning, and access changes.
- Strong understanding of IdP integrations and their configurations.
- Experience in implementing least-privilege and RBAC initiatives.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
