Staff IT Engineer (IAM)

IT Team Overview

The IT team at Headway plays a crucial role in operational efficiency, enabling rapid scaling of the organization and reshaping mental healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Execute projects to design, develop, and standardize the IAM lifecycle and associated workflows for Headway employee accounts.
• Drive automation and integration excellence by configuring and managing workflows to automate provisioning, de-provisioning, and access changes.
• Complete and maintain key IdP integrations of varying complexity with business applications.
• Lead the transition to least-privilege, ensuring access is governed by job function and need.
• Support the organization-wide Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) initiative, addressing and resolving identity-related incidents and escalated service requests.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish IAM policies and governance fostering a culture of least-privilege.

Requirements

• Experience in a SaaS environment with at least 5 years, specifically focused on Identity & Access Management (Okta experience preferred).
• Subject matter expertise in IAM technologies, leading large-scale projects involving IdP implementation, JML automation, and API integrations.
• Leadership in organization-wide access control deployments requiring cross-functional collaboration and user impact management.
• Technical proficiency in presenting solutions that drive business efficiency, with methodical project ownership and management.
• Team player with a growth mindset, actively seeking and providing feedback.
• Stay updated on the latest technology and privacy best practices.
