About the role
This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a Business Services environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end ML lifecycle and deployment, ensuring rigorous tracking and reproducibility of models
- Collaborate with bioinformatics and computational biology teams to create scalable protein design workflows
- Implement CI/CD and observability for ML, automating deployment and monitoring model performance
- Enhance GPU and compute efficiency through effective resource management and optimization
- Develop self-service ML tools and provide technical leadership to empower data scientists and researchers
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computational Biology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of software, ML, or infrastructure engineering experience with a strong track record in MLOps
- Experience with ML lifecycle tooling such as MLflow, Kubeflow, and Weights & Biases
- Strong skills in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and a major cloud platform (Azure preferred)
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Bash for automation and tooling

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $180,000 – $220,000 annually
