Staff Development Coordinator (RN) - Full-Time
About the role
The Staff Development Coordinator is responsible for conducting education, skills competencies, training, clinical observations, and quality assurance audit tools as directed by the Director of Nursing Services. The role also involves assisting with new employee hiring and fostering a supportive and engaging environment for staff.
Responsibilities
- Conducts education, skills competencies, training, clinical observations, and quality assurance audit tools as directed by the Director of Nursing Services.
- Aids in new employee hiring processes.
- Engages with staff to champion employee recognition and retention programs.
- Serves as an advocate for growth and development within the company.
- Creates a comfortable and engaging atmosphere for residents.
- Collaborates with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
- Communicates effectively to maintain a respectful and positive work environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Indiana RN license (or ability to obtain an Indiana license).
- Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff.
