Assistant Director of Nursing/Staff Development Coordinator - Full Time

Responsibilities

• Aid the DON in planning, organizing, and directing nursing services.
• Supervise and evaluate nursing staff performance.
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards of care and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and performance management.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
• Cook up and coordinate orientation programs for new hires.
• Plan and deliver ongoing in-service education and competency training.
• Monitor and track staff certifications, licenses, and continuing education requirements.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and update programs as needed.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify education needs.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal training requirements.
• Maintain accurate education and training records.
• Perform other staff development and education duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher from an accredited college.
• Unencumbered RN license in the state in which we operate.
• Long-term Care/skilled Nursing Management Experience Required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
