Responsibilities
- Supervising nursing staff and ensuring quality care
- Developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures
- Overseeing hiring, employment, and staff development
- Monitoring staff conduct and maintaining adequate staffing levels
- Managing incident reports and assessing residents' health needs
Qualifications
- Current New York State RN license
- Prior DON and supervisory experience in long-term care
- Minimum of 5 years in LTC and 2 years in leadership roles
- Strong supervision and leadership skills
