About the role
We're seeking a dynamic Staff Development Training Associate to lead the creation and maintenance of training records, ensure compliance with laws and mandatory training, and develop and implement training programs.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the creation and maintenance of all data regarding training records for employees, including contractors.
- Audits and ensures compliance of federal and state laws and mandatory training.
- Works with other departments in the coordination and creation of training reports.
- Develops and implements training programs that increase employee commitment and build a climate of trust, continual improvement, and accountability.
- Evaluates current data management for employee training records and recommends changes and improvements to the Training Coordinator/s as needed.
- Collaborates with IT to develop, manage and maintain technology requirements and applications that support the successful deployment and administration of training.
- Creates and runs queries in data system (e.g. AS400, etc.).
- Notifies employees of training needs as applicable.
- Assists staff development and training personnel with various needs and projects.
- Consults with departments to develop and deliver customized departmental training solutions.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Director or other appropriate administrator.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Able to pass Criminal Background and Drug screen (No felony, No pending cases/court date, No violent crime)
- At least 18 years old
- Able to read, write, and speak in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services or Health Care field

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Essential Functions
- Records/Enters data neatly into computer system, accurately, and objectively, consistent with New Vista Hazelwood requirements.
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
