About the role
The HR Associate coordinates and executes HR service programs. They ensure the maintenance and proper utilization of systems, databases or processes by end users and ensure that service level agreements are achieved.
Responsibilities
- Communicates and facilitates processes and procedures related to training & development (e.g., corporate development initiatives, management and employee development)
- Communicates program changes to management team and to employees
- Provides value-add input to ensure continuous improvement for any program(s), system or database
- Assists employees with questions or problems related to benefits plans
- PARTNERS WITH MANAGERS TO ENSURE TRAINING REQUIREMENTS ARE MET
- SUPPORTS ACTIVITIES REGARDING LEGAL AND REGULATORY IMPACT OF PROGRAM CHANGES
- GENERATES REPORTS AS REQUESTED
- GATHERS INFORMATION AS REQUESTED (e.g., PDP ratings, merit increases)
Requirements
- Significant knowledge of legislation impacting the practice of human resources management
- Significant knowledge of company HR policies and practices
- Knowledge of local HRIS system and report writing
- Good public presentation skills
- General knowledge of adult learning methods
- Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal customers
- Ability to evaluate multiple highly detailed tasks, determine priorities and organize work in a manner that allows for timely completion of projects
- Ability to manage sensitive employee information in a confidential manner
- Knowledge of computer applications and the ability to accurately perform tasks in some or all of the following applications: Google Workspace, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Qualifications
- One to two years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience
Skills
