Responsibilities

  • Develop, configure, implement, and support enterprise software applications, reports, dashboards, and workflow solutions for internal and external clients.
  • Design and develop solutions utilizing Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Power Apps (Model-Driven, Canvas, and Portals), Power BI, Power Automate, and related Microsoft technologies.
  • Configure application security, user access, automation workflows, integrations, and system settings to meet business and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and prioritize business requirements, translating operational needs into technical solutions.
  • Participate as a member of Agile delivery teams by contributing to backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning activities.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, business stakeholders, developers, architects, and third-party vendors to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Support Source-to-Pay (S2P) technology initiatives, including implementation, enhancement, integration, and ongoing optimization of procurement and financial applications.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies and software solutions that improve business processes, automation, reporting, and data management.
  • Create and execute Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) test plans, test scripts, regression testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation activities to ensure solution quality.
  • Cookordinate and support production deployments, release management activities, change control processes, post-deployment validation, and production issue resolution.
  • Monitor production applications, troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate corrective actions to minimize business disruption.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions integrate seamlessly across enterprise applications and data platforms.
  • Communicate project status, risks, issues, and recommendations to stakeholders, leadership, and project teams in a clear and effective manner.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and recommending automation or system enhancements.
  • Adhere to and be responsible for compliance with Burns & McDonnell Safety and Quality programs.
  • Ensure compliance with company, client, security, governance, and regulatory policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in engineering, computer science, or related degree and 4 years of relevant experience required.
  • Consulting experience in the architectural, engineering and construction industries preferred.
  • Software development and programming experience required.
  • Understanding of software and hardware system architecture.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients.
  • Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrated critical thinking skills.
  • Strong computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills.
