Responsibilities

  • Support sourcing activities including RFQs, supplier comparisons, and basic price analysis under the guidance of senior procurement staff
  • Issue purchase orders and subcontracts for approved purchase requisitions in accordance with established policies and authority limits
  • Review requisitions and purchase documents for accuracy, pricing, delivery requirements, and compliance
  • Track and manage supplier deliveries, proactively following up on schedule changes or risks to program timelines
  • Cookordination with Program Management, Engineering, Quality, and Finance teams to support material planning and execution
  • Maintain supplier records, pricing, and delivery data within ERP systems
  • Support the proper flow-down of quality, technical, and contractual requirements to suppliers
  • Aid in supplier performance tracking related to cost, quality, and on-time delivery
  • Support resolution of invoice discrepancies, returns, cancellations, and other supplier issues
  • Participate in supplier communications and reviews as appropriate
  • Perform other procurement-related duties as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration or related field is desirable.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, operations, or related roles.
  • Strong negotiation skills, purchasing practices and ethics and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Basic understanding of purchasing practices, ethics, and supplier coordination.
  • Experience working in ERP/MRP systems; Costpoint experience is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity and establish structure in dynamic and evolving environments.

Qualifications
