Staff Analyst

Houston, TX 77054 $42/hr. Description Maintain up to date procedures, ensuring that the policy manual is current, and coordinated with all impacted programs. Develop systems and processes to limit program liability and provide proper audits to identify risk and prevent duplicate discounts and diversion. Review all policies and procedures and offer contributions to required changes. Monitor and track all policy changes regarding compliance from HRSA, CMS, and any all-relevant agencies. Monitor the prime vendor program and assist in developing strategies to provide greater saving to the programs. Become familiar with all pertinent contracts including the Avita contract, the contracts that are included in the R & S Distributor. Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and comply with AP 2-2 policy. Minimum Qualifications KNOWLEDGE: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or a field directly related to the type of work being performed. Graduate degrees related to the type of work to be performed may substitute for the experience requirement on a year-for-year basis. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Three years of professional administrative, financial or analytical experience related to the type of work being performed are required. Professional experience related to the type of work to be performed may substitute for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis. PHYSICAL EFFORT: The position is physically comfortable; the individual has discretion about walking, standing, etc. WORK ENVIRONMENT: There are no major sources of discomfort, i.e., essentially normal office environment with acceptable lighting, temperature and air conditions. PHYSICAL SKILL: Requires the ability to make simple gross motor responses within large tolerances.
