Staff Accountant - Thrasher Partners

Thrasher Partners is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Staff Accountant to join our growing accounting team. This position will be primarily responsible for Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) activities while supporting the broader accounting function. This position reports directly to the Regional Controller and plays an integral role in the accounting team. As Staff Accountant, you will: Accounts Receivable Update and maintain customers payments, invoices, and all related accounting records accurately and timelyMaintain accounts receivable records; monitor outstanding balances and collaborate with operations to support collectionsPartner with operations to ensure revenue / work-in-progress are properly recognized in the correct accounting periodEnsure consistency of accounting information between company CRM and accounting system Accounts Payable Process vendor invoices and ensure proper coding, approvals and support documentationManage vendor payments in accordance with payment terms and company cash flowReconcile vendor statements, bill processing platform records and accounting systems recordsMonitor and update company credit card transactions to ensure proper classification and approvalsAssist with intercompany billing and related recordkeepingAssist with other cash disbursements activities as needed EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: 3+ years of experience in a staff accountant role is preferred Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting softwareStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Why Join Our Team?
