Staff Accountant - Parkway Advisors

About the role

The position will be a Staff Accountant and will be responsible for preparations & accuracy of the financials for the organization. Passion, character and strong motivation are key characteristics to be a team member of our team.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of the monthly financials for Parkway LP and Holding Companies
• Calculation of quarterly advisory fees
• Prepare quarterly billing statements
• Aid in preparation of the Budget and Business plans
• Enter payments from clients in QuickBooks, prepare deposit slips, and take them to the bank
• Reconciliation of Bank accounts
• Compile the information that is needed for Parkway’s income tax return
• Prepare Forms 1099-NEC for contract labor and board fees
• Able to work with and learn from all departments within Parkway (Investments, Statutory Accounting, Consulting and SEC Compliance)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with clients or sensitive information
• Ability to be an effective leader; as well as to be a team player
• Ability to problem solve, follow through and be self-motivated to complete job responsibilities
• Able to adapt to change and the willingness to incorporate new ideas
• Proficient knowledge and use of Microsoft Office and Strong Excel skills
• Proficient knowledge and use of QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online
• Excellent communication skills
• Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
